As young men, Mark and I enjoyed the privilege to travel around the world as musicians, performing in predominantly Scottish Ceilidh bands. What became very evident was that there is a true global interest in all things Scottish, particularly our cultural and whisky heritage. Basically, Scots provenance is recognised as a core value of tradition, mixing quality and authenticity with genuine pride in its history and its origin.
The Coleburn experience is centred around its location and focusses on all of the above; celebrating the Speyside whisky icon, one that is synonymous with Scotland naturally. This disused whisky distillery, Scotland’s first Whisky hotel and Event space to be, will prove to be a unique setting and product offering, where vibrancy and tranquillity go together, defining the style and premium quality of the hospitality on offer and creating unique experiences that are truly memorable.
The genuinely unique regional assets of Speyside afford undeniable and universally recognised opportunities that must be capitalised on and to us, the Coleburn development is the corner stone project which will unlock this great potential.
